ABG GROUP HISTORY

ABG (named after the initials of the Founder and Chairman, Alhaji Bawa Garba) began in 1966 when Alhaji Bawa Garba officially setup his first business – Arewa Commercial Institute (an advancement class for commercial subjects) in Northern Nigeria.

The institute later transformed into his first company in 1970 – Arewa Advancement Enterprises, specializing in office stationery and equipment supply, clerk and secretarial training in Kaduna, Nigeria.
